Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 August 2026 · Early access

Who we are

Vasta is operated from Estonia; the operating company's registration details will be published here and on the privacy page. Until then, these terms bind the operator reachable through the contact channel below. Governing law is the law of the Republic of Estonia.

The service

Vasta is an embeddable customer-support chat: a widget for your website and an inbox for your team. You are responsible for the content of your conversations and for having a lawful basis to process your visitors' data; we process it on your behalf as described in the privacy policy.

Early access, honestly

Vasta is in early access. There is no contractual uptime guarantee (SLA) yet. We run the service carefully - EU hosting, daily retention enforcement, tested releases - but you should judge it by the live demo and the Free plan before putting it in front of customers.

Fees

The Free plan is free. Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the prices shown on the pricing page, monthly or yearly, per workspace. You can cancel any time from Settings; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. We give 30 days' notice before any price change to an existing subscription.

Your data and leaving

Your conversations belong to you. If you stop using Vasta, you may request a copy of your workspace data and we will provide it in a machine-readable form. If we ever discontinue the service, we commit to at least 30 days' written notice, with your data available the whole time. Deleting your workspace deletes its conversations and files for real.

Acceptable use

No unlawful content, no spam, no impersonating other services, no attempts to access other workspaces' data. We may suspend a workspace that abuses the service or harms other customers, and will say why.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Estonian law.
